Thea Maillard Leyton Yoga

Thea fell in love with yoga during her very first lesson in 2011 and continues to practice yoga on and off her mat on a daily basis ever since. Initially drawn to yoga’s physical benefits, she soon realized that yoga had much more to offer and started to study yoga philosophy and to practice meditation.

In 2013 Thea completed the 500hrs yoga teacher training “The Rising Moon” at Yoga&More in Berlin. In 2016, she trained in Pregnancy Yoga with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Lisa-Victoria White and completed the Advanced Yin Yoga Training with Norman Blair and the Total Yoga Nidra Facilitator course with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Nirlipta Tuli and Ben Wolff in 2017 in London.

Thea continues to develop her practice and skills in close relationship, and with deep gratitude, to her teachers Ferri Djabbari, Norman Blair, Ben Wolff and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.

Thea believes that yoga is for everybody and every day. But every day and every body is different. Therefore, she invites her students to explore their own body and mind over and over again, from a new perspective, with fresh eyes. In her classes, she shares her own passion for yoga and meditation, and focuses on alignment and breathing as well as joy and enjoyment.
